It was a little grim in the TP reception stakes this morning. There seemed to
be an awful lot of domestic splash, and not much in the way of signals worth
pursuing. Listening was done at 1400UT with checking back every 20 minutes or so.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker,
though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK briefly
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker
747 JOIB
774 JOBB
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
828 JOBB per apparent //774
972 likely HLCA
1008, Asiatic direction
1134 seemed to be JOQR, didn't seem //972 or 6125, but 972 was poor also
1287
1503
1575
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
666, 1377, 1593
best wishes,
Nick
