I have been SWLing since 1971 and I have never experienced this kind of odd
reception pattern... ever; TA hets on medium wave and virtually NO SW reception
of any kind above 5 MHZ -- apart from the impossibly irrepressible Radio Havana Cuba
on 49M - audible when there is absolutely nothing else on the air.
