Started listening just after 1500UT, running through to 1530, with occasional stops by the radio afterward. Signals weren't strong, but there was quite a variety. While having difficulty hearing JOBB-828 at times, fighting with something unidentified, 918 would fade up w/echoing CC talk, as an example. And 567 generally gave a better showing than 594 for NHK1, at least initially.
pretty darn good audio, at least briefly (all of it understandable by a native speaker)
774 JOUB after 1522 when there was also something else. DU?
972 HLCA at 1524; strong carrier
1575 VoA pretty good overall, most consistent signal this morning
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker,
though often battling w/splash or noise):
567 JOIK, often the dominant NHK-1
594 JOAK later on
747 JOIB
918 echoing CC talk at 1519UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker
603 two stations by 1528UT, neither //558 which was presumably JOCR?
612 mx likely 4QR judging by DU bearing
639 big carrier earlier which seemed DU, but CNR-1audio slowly faded up //5030
657 N. Korea, hum and mx //3320
675 VV sounding talk at 1523
828 mix of JOBB and mx. Both were poorer on north Flag, so some odd skewing this morning?
873 JOGB //774 at 1523
945 NHK-1 synchros//567 at 1511, but CNR-1 later
1143 CC talk likely Taiwan at 1514UT; no 738 at this time
1287 presumed JOHR
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
666 sounded //594 at 1536UT, so JOBK
702 NHK2 //774
711 at 1527, just mx, HLKA?
738 later on
846 not //594, woman talking
936
1089 sounded like CC talk
1134 //972 later on
1161 at 1536 w/mx
1377 seemed //5030, so CNR1
1512 briefly at 1525UT
1566 at 1548UT, big carrier all along though
1593 CNR-1 //5030 at 1553UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
1008, 1251
best wishes,
Nick
