Congratulations on your reception of the 4 TP's (and many carriers) this  
morning, and especially on your reception of 774-JOUB on the barefoot  Tecsun 
PL-310. That is a great DXing accomplishment for your location.
 
1017 kHz is not one of the stronger TP frequencies even here on the west  
coast, so you can really be happy about that one. We usually  have either 
CNR1 (China) or JOLB (Japan) on 1017 during the fall  DX season, with Tonga 
occasionally showing up during the summer DU  season.

Listened  this morning from about 0910 to 1150 UTC. The ones with audio 
were 693, 747,  774 & 1017. Never had TP audio on 1017 before (other than 
Tonga). 774 was  so strong audio from it could be heard on Tecsun PL-310  
barefoot!

I do not have an outside antenna, just 8" Quantum loop,  used with Eton E1.
