Forgot to mention, I am using the Drake SPR4 with the 2.4 khz filter in
AM. Thanks to Phil & Nick for making the mod for me a few years back. A
pretty decent receiver and the crystal filters can do better than the
L/C ones in the R8, especially in the AM mode. Plus the added notch
filter works like the crystal phasing in my old SP 600, which I really
loved.
