Wow, how a couple of km causes such a huge difference.  Now you didn't say when you were listening, Colin, so there might not be a direct A/B comparison between the two of us.  One comment, though:  I never hear 693 on my antennae.  CBU is simply too strong and splattery to hear anything (at least so far this season).  Last year, yes, I did hear the NHK2 station a few times.  You have me there.  I was simply totally unimpressed with the morning, at least between 13:36 and 14:13 UTC.  Agree that HLAZ was only so-so by the time I got there (and on most mornings it's very good).  720 is almost always CNR2 here.  You sure about the KK?  603 with NHK2, eh?  That's a decent catch.  Haven't heard that one yet this season....Walt.
