There's a fair number of Russian immigrants in the Seattle area. It's actually one of the more common non-English languages I hear when I'm in stores etc.

KLFE-1590 carries Russian pgms 6 am-10 pm M-F, and KKNW-1150 has a Russian show 5-7 pm, so we apparently have a fair number of people who know the language..

I'm not sure about the number of Russian speakers elsewhere in the state.
