[IRCA] TP for 3 Apr from Victoria, BC
Most of the big guns weren't so big this morning, but there was still some
interesting lower caliber stuff floating around. A bit surprising to still be
hearing China. Listened around 1300 then again 1330, but things were fading fast
by 1345UT. At 1407, weak audio remained on 972, 1566 and 1575.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
594 JOAK
1575 VoA w/SE Asian language at 1335, Khmer listed
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or
noise):
774 JOUB
828 JOBB with something under; sounded CC?
972 HLCA
1566 HLAZ at 1330UT; once pattern changed at 1345, this was weaker
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
279 R. Rossii
567 JOIK //594
612 JOLK //594
747 JOIB
936 sounded like CC, so Anhui?
945 CNR-1 //5030
1134 two signals, one //972, so S. Korea, and likely JOQR
1287 JJ talk, so JOHR?
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
180 and 189 R. Rossii //279
558 unID
648 likely Russia?
873 JOGB //774, perhaps something else there also
1242 JJ inflected talk, likely JOLF
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
1098 DU, 1161
best wishes,
Nick
