I'd be glad to send you some DX clips (MP3) of MW stations in different
Asian languages if you like. I have some loud and clear recordings in
Chinese, Korean, and Japanese that can help you get accustomed to the
language differences.

On this topic, I need to some day be able to tell the difference between
Standard Chinese (Cantonese?) and Mandarin. I've heard about these flavors
but haven't a clue as to how they differ.
