2.4-3.6 means 2.4-3.6 megabytes (millions).  28.8 is 28.8 kilobytes
(thousands).  If you drop down to .1, you're at 100KB/second, which is 3.5
times faster than 28.8, but not near enough to support even ugly video out
of YouTube.  I always laugh when corporate network people scream about
people playing music but never complain a bit about YouTube, CNN, Fox, you
name it.  They need tons more bandwidth than the best audio.
