[IRCA] A tale of 2 Ultralite duds

Thhe Mini World 100 PE is a small 2AA set that tunes AM, FM and 6 shortwave bands. It is not especially sensitive on AM.  Audio is good, and superb in headphones. A loop antenna helps.

I have 2 black Mini 300's.  Digital display with cranky analog tuning. The whip for FM and SW also work on AM. When you do this at night you get stronger reception but all kinds of whistles and other noises.  The SW is OK. The FM is OK.  I still want a red or yellow one. I expect battery life is better on the 100 as it has no clock, nor digital display.
