[IRCA] ULTRALIGHT DX......NEW Country # 14 ANGUILLA 1610 Khz.......
Hi Guys:
Late night at work this evening...so no listening done yet.
However.....I did some listening late last night while falling asleep!!
Have been trying for ANGUILLA on 1610 for the past week with no luck. It
used to pound in here in years gone by. I figured with a Spanish Station in
Toronto....and a French Station in Montreal now...it may be a tough catch
for me. At least that's about all I had to fight with....so with good
Caribe Conditions....it should be possible!!??
The French station on 1610 from Montreal was the dominant station....but @
2320 EST.....The Caribbean Beacon FINALLY made an appearance after trying
for it all week.Had them in for about 40 Minutes....in and out. At times
they were well over Montreal....other times Non Existant!! My guess is that
they are using rather Low Power with the Re-Activation???? Does anyone know
what the current Power is??? I don't think they've been back long enough
for much info to be available yet???
Anyways....It's a New Country # 14 on ULR!! Also had good conditions to the
West last night. Several Sask stations blasting in!!
Radio Used was........SONY SRF-T615 Barefoot.

ULR LOG TOTALS are now..............627 Stations heard.

Under/Over Montreal. First faded up @ 2320 EST with Male Preacher in
ENGLISH. Continued
EE Preaching with Verses from the Bible also Read at times. Pretty much the
same
standard fare as in years past. At 0000 EST switched over to a FEMALE PREACHER
in ENGLISH. (I presume the Better Half of the deceased Reverend??) Signal
surprisingly strong
at times.......and well under Montreal at other times.
RELOG.....But NEW to ULR # 627 NEW ULR COUNTRY # 14 Power Unknown??
