Thanks for the advice. The only area I really have is to the East, where
the beverage runs. I may have 60-80 feet between the trees. If the lobe
is broad enought, that may work. I cannot really run one to the NE.
True, I have the tree out in the field to the NE, but any return coax
would be sitting under water a lot of Winter. That is why I never tried
a NE EWE. Fine for the SW EWE as the coax connections are on the SW side
and clear of the lake, behind the house. The topped trees to the East
are in the 25 foot range in height.
Now, since the ALA loop would be running near the other antennas,
would there be an interreaction problem. I know the old spacing issue,
but I just don't have the room to space out the antennas.
I have 4 pieces of RG6 out there. I can easily use the one from the
vertical. I only use that occasionally for SW or phasing the beverage.
That antenna really is not that important, if I find something better.
Of course I can always run out a 5th piece of RG6 anyway.
