Re: [IRCA] KKIM-1000

Must've been KKIM that I had briefly surfacing on 1000 around the same time last night, running a spot for the chamber-music ensemble "Concertante" performing at the KiMo Theatre in Albuquerque next week. (Leave it to a classical-music announcer/programmer to pick THAT out as a program detail, hi!) Soon descended back into the soup on frequency.

I think it was also Chris Knight who mentioned CKWX-1130 blasting in last night... they were as loud or louder here than they've ever been last night around 11:15pm CST, again with reports on the power outages in the wake of the Vancouver snowstorm, "Weather on the 1's" and "News 1130" IDs.

At 11:44PM MST KKIM is S9+20db and dominating 1000 even on the NW Flag. Not
bad for just 38 watts! No chance for KOMO tonight...
