Re: [IRCA] TIS from 2001 info needed

I checked what I have here and found only the following for the City
of Irvine TIS....in November of 2000, Bill Harms (his TIS List, I
believe) listed the station as WPXA209. On 3 OCT 2004, you reported (DXM
or SDXM?) the call sign as WPKA209. Information I have between those
dates shows only the two call-signs. Unlike AM stations, TIS files do
not reflect previous call letters. If WCO680 is/was a federal station,
it would be licensed by the NTIA - and agency that does not readily
release ANY information to the public regarding TIS operations.
You could check with the current operators to see if WCO680 was a
previous call sign:
