Hmmm, I'm really burning up the IRCA reprints CD this evening. Such a matching scheme was described in IRCA reprint A048, which is 25 years old, and I vaguely remember the guy who described it...the reprints really contain a ton of information, much of it as topical today as when they were first published in DX Monitor.
