Is it possible these were trans-Arctic, Nigel? UAE and Kuwait? (especially given Walt was hearing Farda later...though I suspect his antenna has some sort of subsidiary link to the UAE because I haven't heard Farda yet in the morning, and I'm just a short distance to the west of Walt's place)
