[IRCA] KGAB + TPs
650: KGAB was not found 11/1 9pm PDT. I did hear a couple of
"newsradio 650" anncts which seems to match KENI.
Meanwhile, on 11/2 between 1255-1415 UTC, a reasonable array if in-
and-out audios among the 20 or so hets:
648 There is a bad local buzz on this part of the band making
intelligibility difficult but this was in and out over the hour I
listened with what appeared to be Chinese rather than Korean.
However, the music selection I heard sounded Russian. VOR Primorskiy
presumed.
693 JOAB by far the loudest TP of the morning, mostly with EE/JJ lessons
783 seemed like a tone here or perhaps a het between two 783
stations. No audio but a definite carrier (or two)
891 almost audio through the barely-there 890 domestic(s)
954 JOKR in for a spell through KJR slop
963 definitely a strong carrier but couldn't pull any audio out
972 HLCA intelligible at both 1300 and 1400. However, it was really
fuzzy at 1400; do North Korean jammers go on at 1400 or was this just
an increase in the noise level?
