[IRCA] Puyallup, WA TP's for 10-5-- Improving
Hello Guys,
This morning's propagation certainly wasn't up to great levels,
although it did have its moments. The disturbed conditions seem to be breaking up a
little.
JOHK-891 weakly came up in audio at 1351 with its NHK1 program for a
new modified E100 Ultralight logging, which certainly would have been
impossible without the Murata narrow filter (due to serious 890 domestic QRM). Audio
was only there for about a minute, though. Probably this station was around
on better mornings recently, but the frequency was not checked until this
morning.
The Japanese powerhouses 594,747,774 and 828 were strong, as well as
HLCA-972. North Korea-657 continues its very temporary run as a seasonal
powerhouse, with booming audio even on the SRF-39FP Prison Radio. DXers like
Dennis Gibson looking for their first stock Ultralight TP should add it in their
radio's memory.
All things considered, not a bad morning.
73, Gary
