Sounds like you're doing quite well. I wasn't using TA oriented antennas
here near Chicago tonite as Sept 30 can be such a good sunset skip night to
the west. (not as good as hoped and nothing new unless I can pin down a song
to KOVE 1330 WY) Lots of TA hets and some audios and some early sunset skip
stations. (Of note ...KOMO 1000 nice thru WMVP phase, KFLD 870 decent, KOFI
1180 nice, presumed (hard to ID ESPN stns) and logged at least a dozen times
KFXX 1080)
Was your 999 RR or SS...999 is always Spain here.. I had a het but not
enough to get past WMVP. From what I've read Moldova comes on the air at
0300 ? As for your splatter from KOMO 1000...I'd think that phasing could
help there.
Speaking of TA DX...tomorrow most of the northern N.Am pests will be
switching to night rig at least an hour sooner than tonite. This is a huge
help for TA's arriving near or a few minutes prior to our sunset.
73 KAZ near Chicago and likely back in WI later this week

AT 02:50, the stronger TA carriers are as follows:
531, 621, 639,675, 711,738,747,756 (weak audio), 765 (near audio), 774,
783 (weak audio), 828, 837 (near audio), 855 (weak audio), 864, 873,
882,945, 954,972,999 (quite good audio except for splatter from 1000...of
course faded just at 03:00!), 1008,1035, 1044, 1053, 1089, 1125, 1134
(weak audio), 1143, 1179, 1206, 1215 (audio to fair level off and on),
1224, 1251, 1269,1323, 1377 (wk audio), 1548, 1584, 1593, 1602. There
were many more "1" and "2" level carriers as well. Hoping that some of
these will convert into useable audio....time will tell!......Walt
