[IRCA] Alberta TP's for 21 Sep 2008
I can certainly second what Craig reported, as it was also the best TP
morning of the season thus far at this location. Unlike yesterday,
there was not a DU to be found, but the Asians certainly made up for
that. Listened from 1230 to 1330.
Virtually every split frequency had a carrier so I won't attempt to list
those but I did hear audio on 531, 585, 594, 648, 693, 702, 711, 747,
774, 819, 828, 972, 1044, 1062, 1098, 1107, 1134, 1188, 1206, 1287,
1422, 1566, and 1575. Korea seemed favoured as 1566 had a huge signal,
and 972 and 711 were also good. The Japanese signal on 702 was the best
I've ever heard, even stronger than next door on 693 at times. The most
interesting catch wasn't on a split though, as I was hearing Japanese on
720 khz. I haven't checked yet, but it seems to me the Voice of Russia
uses that freq to Japan?
Must have been an incredible morning on the coast!
