building where I work in Charlestown, the northernmost neighborhood of
Boston. I believe their daytime towers are in Framingham, MA and their
night-time towers are in Ashland, MA - both facilities about 20-25 miles
southwest of Boston Dedham is strictly a city-of-license on
paper. Perhaps they have a small office there for legal
purposes. Anyway, a couple of points. 1.) They recently received a
night-time power increase to 6kw. 2.) However, at night they have a
severe null to the west to protect WLS. I suspect that, when you heard
them at 2000 EDT, they were either on day power/pattern or running
non-directional. They should have switched to night power/pattern at 1900 EDT.

Marc.....I also heard WAMG last night...but I heard them at 2355-0003 AM
EDT. So...they were possibly still on FULL POWER at that time of the
morning......I was able to Null WLS enough to get them in the clear...even
way over here in the Great Lakes area!!
