Colin,
Much to the chagrin and horror of my then 16 year old daughter, my vacation
carry-on luggage was a bright yellow Pelican case containing my Elecraft KX1
multiband qrp transceiver and CW key. On the way back from the Adirondacks,
at the Albany airport, the TSA specialist looked puzzled during xray and
called over her supervisor who cleared it without blinking. On the way up,
no questions asked.
