Speaking as a MW dxer I agree that the AM band needs some housework. However speaking as an FM dxer its also too crowded on FM (where IBOC really makes a mess of things). Between IBOC and living between 2 major markets and close a third regional market I don't have too many open FM frequencies. Unless they expand the FM band I don't want to see anything new dropped into FM.
