John, as always, thanks for the guidance on frequencies. 639 had reasonable (6+) islands music at 11:51. Nothing at all on 576, but barely there audio on 756 at 11:51.
828....I can see the spike easily on Perseus, but just a lot of local noise, I think.
738: Nice audio....For a change!!!! It's RFO in French at 11:58. Actually at least a 7. Good modulation for a change! Close to an 8 by 11:59. I actually used the splat rejection on Perseus to good effect, although nothing I couldn't do with LSB or PBT. Nice to see that it worked. Sure wish it was automatic, though. During the hot and heavy DX sessions at dawn, there simply isn't time. I can see it handy though when trying to tease out every last little bit of intelligebility. I checked at 12:05, John, but only a weak barely there audio. Too bad you weren't there at 11:59! I'm sure it would have been strong on your set too.
Nothing here on 675 or 1107.
963 had EZL C&W music at 12:12 at a good 7 level. Obviously not CRI Russian Service! (the usual here in my neck of the woods in the fall).
Nick heard 774 this morning as did I. At 12:14 it was very weak, but stronger at 11:47, but faded out by 12:00, so unsure who, but intonation sounded possibly like NHK2.
That's it for now from Victoria. I'll set the Perseus up again tonight..........Walt.
