[IRCA] CBS FM HD antenna tower Portland Oregon (OT)

Good Evening,
Had a chat with my neighbor who is the chief engineer for
CBS radio in Portland, OR. Construction has started on
the new antenna tower for the 5 HD FM stations that CBS
owns in Portland.
He mentioned that the cost of the antenna is $1,000,000.
It has a elevator that stops 60' from the top of the tower.
The location is on the hill near the other towers above the
city of Portland.
He said that it would be a long time before CBS considers
HD for KFMD 970 AM. Also mentioned that one the guys building the
tower, his next job is setting up a 200 kw MW station. My .
neighbor forgot what country the station was in.
