Interesting to note your vertical antenna was noisy there in Oklahoma.
I replaced my vertical after it blew down last December. I just ran the
wire up to a limb and brought it back down. It is at 45 feet and works
very nicely. No noise at all. One of my quietest antennas. A great
phasing antenna with the beverage. I really missed it. Phasing with
either EWE was not nearly as good.
