Re: [IRCA] Don't know when I'm at
Well folks, I feel real sorry for you'all up there in the north country.
Here in southeastern Tennessee it was around 75 degrees and muggy. The grass
is way ahead of me cutting it, about a foot tall and it will be raining all
weekend long. In fact, it is POURING, as I write. But, We have had 3 great
days in a row.
Can not start a garden until late April as a freaky freeze will always
destroy it.
Patrick, I use to do the same thing, take long walks down the beach in
Norfolk, VA. The wife and I had an apartment right at the Chesapeak. When I
was stationed in Charleston, SC
we lived on Sulluvans Island and also spent a lot of time at the beach. All
this was in 1964 and 1965.
Don K. When I was stationed on Treasure Island I fought out about San
Francisco weather.
With the wind from the Golden Gate blowing across the Bay, it was cold, but
in Oakland it was hot. So when I could I went into wine country and after a
while I didn't care what the temperture was. :))
