Test heard here in Eastern Massachusetts through heavy QRM on a Kaito 
1103 portable.  Sweep tones cut through well; Morse weak at times with 
call letters followed by Philadelphia.  CHU type time signals. Also 
Rene's voice announcements difficult at times, better as test went on.
And [applause please} SPIKE JONES with Beetlebaum (or however you spell 
it).  I purchased that recording in its original 10 inch 78RPM format 
almost sixty years ago now.  I had most of Spike Jones recordings in 
that era.  Great hearing it again.
QRM was a "Legends 102.7" which may have originated from Providence, 
RI.  Unable to null as both stations in same direction.  Second half 
hour easier to copy the test than first half hour signal strength 
reaching periods of good copy.
