Hey Rob: I can not always check this email address but I did enter. Due
to work I missed Friday SSS and Saturday SRS. I was able to get my 4
hours of listening time in but I missed out on about half of my last
hour and a half remaining due to a family issue. There were quite a few
stations that I expected to hear and didn't but I did add one new one to
the overall log which is nice and dozens to the ULR log (trying for 300
in 30).

Hi Guys:
Well...the Ultralight Radio Contest started last night....and I
haven't
heard a PEEP outta anyone in the contest since it started!!! Guess
everybody is busy Logging Hundreds of Stations on Their Favourite ULR
Radios!! You only have a TOTAL of 4 Hours to DX.....so use the time
wisely
and bag as many as you can. I have already done my DAYTIME Band SCAN
which
took 50 Minutes and have Bagged a Pile of Stations already during the
Daylight Hours. Still have to do about an Hour and 10 Minutes at
SUNSET.........and then I'm saving the other 2 Hours for NIGHT TIME DX.
Conditions were not too bad for the Daytime Bandscan.....but I am still
missing a Few Stations I thought I would hear....but I should be able to
pick them up at the SUNSET Session.
Hope to do the Nighttime DX Session tonight...but will have to wait to
make
sure conditions are Quiet...and there is some Longhaul stuff coming in.
If
not...I can always do that session on Sunday night.
How are you guys on the 2 Coasts making out??? I figure that's the areas
that should wrap up the World Wide Total Distance Awards!!!
I am only entering the BAREFOOT Division.....so it will be interesting
to
see how that Division stacks up against the "SUPER MODIFIED BOYS!!!".
Anyways....good luck to everyone in the SPRINT Contest......I'm gonna
make
you work hard if you wanna win the Total Stations Championship......but
I'm
sure I'm gonna get my Butt Kicked in the Total Distance Division by you
Modified Radio East and West Coasters!! Have Fun everyone.....
