[IRCA] 28 Feb TPs
First of all, the best TP yet on an "Ultralight", the SRF-39 this time, as suggested by Gary. Good solid copy on 747 with English lessons at 1444UT; hung in there for a couple of minutes as it faded down
Listened this morning for a few minutes around 1420UT, then again at 1440UT for about 15 more minutes. The lower band shone, with some NHK1 stations making appearances not heard since the fall. (729, 585, and 612 for example), and some Chinese stations appearing, but the upper band remained poor during this period.
Asian unless otherwise noted:
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly) 594, 747 (of course)
reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 279, 567, 585 (briefly), 774, 828, 936, 1377CNR1
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 612 NHK1, 666 (2 stations), 873 NHK2, 945 CNR1, 972, 1134, 1287
Burbles in the splatter: 531 JJ?, 639 didn't seem CNR1, DU?, 657 mostly a rough carrier, 675, 729 (2 stations, one briefly paralleled as NHK1), 855 w/hum, 864, 918, 981 pretty sure was CNR1 //5030, 1242, 1278
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 621, 1008, 1143, 1206 w/hum, 1269
best wishes,
Nick
