Well, let's see, quite a lot of splatter, electrical noise on the lower end of the band (only on the northerly Flag), and occasionally a strong carrier on 1215.....
"Seeing" as you're discovering, is a lot easier. Spectran regularly digs out TA hets from the audio murk here, often when even a whistle is impossible to hear in the ever present splatter.
