[IRCA] That pesky bluegrass on 980

980       WHAW WV       Weston blasting in w/bluegrass & bluegrass talk
shows all morning; has become daytime regular & dominates WONE with WATH
splatter nulled.  Very few IDs & commercials, but does do TOH IDs w/mention
of calls & frequency & "Weston, in the heart of West Virginia."  They are
not new here, but the only time I ever heard them I had to dig an ID out of
the mess about three years ago.  So this has to be a day and possibly even a
night power increase.  My best guess would be that they beam it north to
protect WFHG, whose towers can't be much more than 120 miles from Weston.
So this almost has to be Saul's unID on 980.
