My guess on your "3WR" would be WWWR in Roanoke, VA. I have heard them down
here into TN.
910 WWWR ROANOKE VA 1000 84 NDA S. GSPL/REL
Remember when 1100 in Cleveland, OH was "3WE"? Their call was WWWE and the
station shorten it to 3WE. Same thing with WWWR. The 3WE call is now used by
a spanish station to the south of me, on the same frequency, no less.
