Yeah, way too many lists. I only subscribe to a ABDX, IRCA and NRC for
general DXing  stuff, and generally only post to ABDX, unless I'm
responding to something posted on one of the others (like now).

Other than that, there are some specialty lists, (like GY and
CorazonDX), but only need to post stuff of interest to those lists.

Not sure if there's anything that can be done about list profusion.
