Well, that's one way to look at it.   Others, like myself will remember that KYA was built with a halfwave self-suppoting tower - near Candlestick Park, by W.R. Hearst and was part of a large radio and publishing company -- that had more "power" than watts.   Ownership of the media is still a concern.
