HD Gang won't level with a public it's supposed to serve. They compound lies
with high-hat piety, a la 'you've no business listening to outa town stations'.
Yeah? Sez who? The New York Times and Boston Globe have been called pious and
high-hat by detractors. Yet, neither paper tells readers they've no business
reading the Village Voice or the Boston Herald. Does HD Gang realize how
ridiculous they appear to citizens? Gives new meaning to the emporer has no clothes.
Pay off small stations? Why not try? Gangsta methods were democratized
during the 90s. HD is a prime example. Will legit broadcasters become fancy women
to BigKorpseorate spacones** who flash a couple bucks and blat phony promises?
Whadda you think?
Big Radio is about to see consumers shift from rampant apathy to total
disappointment.
Radio World this week features articles re the same bunch of scripted HD
cheerleaders.
Letters tell the tale. All express disappointment with iBLOC's ruination of
AM & FM. Listeners are disappointed. Whenever they turn on the radio in hope
of hearing once easily heard 'distant' stations, they hear toxic HD hissing.
It's here at night as well, high above the din of offshore stations.
What an achievement! Take a bow, iNiquity! Kudos, BigKorpseorate! "Ameriga
fate pi du!",* as they used to say with a nod and a wink.
Humans shun pain and seek pleasure. Pained by raucous squallings of formerly
listenable AM and FM, listener apathy becomes pained disapointment. Next, they
depart.
If HD Hole-i-kasters are as thick with avarice as I believe they are, they'll
laugh piously and keep jamming. Good. Their greed shall be their downfall.
This week's Radio World features the usual HD goofs breaking their arms
patting themselves on the back, wowing one another with fanciful tales of loading
more 'data' onto HD streams.
Yeah, as if listeners care.
