listened from about 1420 to 1500UT, an interesting
morning....definite enhancement on at least 594 just after 1430UT;
the propagation monitor shows it well also, and there was a "not
quite as good" post local sunset enhancement peaking by 1000UT.
The other Japanese powerhouses didn't seem to gain nearly as much from sunrise.
Any Chinese heard were winkled out using parallels; too much splatter
for good signals.
The top band was considerably better than it has been, but that just
meant stronger carriers, except for 1575 which peaked nicely before
1400UT, best audio in awhile.
Asian unless noted.
Darn good audio, if briefly: 594
Reasonable audio (though often battling w/splash) 1575
Not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 693, 774
Burbles in the splatter: 639 CNR1, 666 NHK1, 747, 945 CNR1, 972, 981
CNR1, 1044 possibly CRI, but couldn't tell for sure at this level,
even with a parallel
strong carrier, no audio: 1008, 1026, 1098, 1143
best wishes,
Nick
