Bill,

I thought I replied to this already, but it looks like a intercept station,
possibly FCC.

The single device at the center is a Collins 51S1 receiver and the device 
above it is a
(R-1272?) all mode receiver covering 30 - 300 MHz. I have wone in the barn.

It looks FCC, not NSA; but you would know an NSA intercept setup better 
than me.

When the NRC convention visited the FCC Monitoring Station at Chillicothe 
(OH) in
1962, we saw entirely different receivers. I think they were Collins, gut had
nixie readouts.

What impresses me in retrospect now was the many rhombics and (I think)
beverage antennas.
