Re: [IRCA] It's more than IBOC..

Craig -

Agree. iBLOC is not benign, despite inane apologists who say in this week's
Radio World, HD must jamm another fifteen years because, like the computer,
people will be slow to appreciate its full value.

Can't these hinkies ever tell the truth? People recognized the computer's
value immediately. They bought one after the other, each successive unit better
than its predecessor. They saw the value and tolerated the slow progress of
the machines.

Comparing HD to computers is, well, par for the TeamBLOC course.

Consumers recognize HD for what it does - jam stations they wish to hear
and throw on some mediocre streams as a booby prize, as vapid shill parrots
prattle on and on.

This week's Radio World features telling guest editorial by Greg Smith. If
BigKorpseorate KronyKasters are smart, they'll take it to heart and recommend
their shill parrots at radio-info.com do likewise.

But, as with everything HD, stupid is as stupid does. One can hear die-hard
cheerleaders even now, deriding Mr. Smith and cheering their great digital
jalopy, as radio slowly grinds its main bearings to filings in a sea of greaszy
FCC/RIAA payola manipulations and cold listener apathy.

HD, as with corkscrew-tailed twin, BPL, serves the interests of those who
exist in shadows, having an eye for tyranny but not the stomach to admit to
such.
