Re: [IRCA] TPs 10/6

An interesting morning, after I overslept yesterday, I thought I would
try to make up for it today.
1053 khz --At 1415 I heard an interesting station in what sounded like
a Chinese dialect. It did not sound like Mandarin, not Cantonese or
Amoy. I came in quite strong for a time with a man talking excitingly.
It sure sounded Chinese though, but it was either the accent or a
different dialect. The Taiwanese I have heard, has that Cantonese or
Amoy sound. This did not. It was not as soft. I have a bit of a head
cold, so maybe my hearing is not up to normal. I did get a very nice
recording of it though. I have been fooled in the past thinking the
language was off beat, just to be proven otherwise by an accent or
something. Whatever it is, the signal is sure strong enough to
understand the language if I knew it. After a bit JOAR took over the
channel though.
1350 khz at 1410 UTC had bits of a woman in JJ u/o domestics but hard
to hear in the jumble, presumed JOER
1260 khz at 1413 UTC, noted KK talk, while looking for the JJ, but as
with 1350 lost in the jumble.
1278 khz 1358 UTC, very nice woman in Mandaran, presume Hebei BC.

Lots of Koreans in and a fair number of JJ too. No Filipinos though. But
mostly an Asian morning. Finally after 1430, noted a few DUs taking over
a few channels like 531, 612, 891, etc.
