Here in the NW, I have noticed bad hash on 1170 and 1200 (KSL & KEX).
Interesting, the hash is not as bad on the SPR4 with the 4.8 khz crystal
filters. The filter is closer to 4 khz though. Plus the addition of the
IF notch over the AF notch on the R8, helps somewhat too. Nothing is a
cure-all, but it is interesting different receivers pick up differently.
