I don't expect any explanation. No one is going to admit to laying an
egg. The way these big boys have been pushing IBOC, it is not good PR to
admit to failure. I am happy they are turning it off  though. But I am
sure the complaints have been coming in left and right. Many engineers I
know fiqured from the beginning that AM IBOC did not have much of a
chance of surving anyway. FM is what they are betting on.
