If I have to trade the loss of QSLs or even DX tests for a chance to prevent
IBOC from happening, I'll do it. Besides, it is hardly useless. The
anti-IBOC murmour is cranking up. By the end of this year it will be a much
louder roar. As DXers, we will be in the position to say "I told you so!".

Engineers should not denigrate the ability of DXers to analyze signals and
their interference potential. While the Certified Radio Reception
Technician title I created is intended to be tongue in cheek, there is a
truth to it.

Maybe we need to invent anti-QSLs. You write to a station and tell them
their IBOC was preventing you from hearing a station. You ask them to please
verify that. Send a recording of their hiss blasting the desired station
underneath.

A common lawyer tactic when the facts aren't on your side is to attack the
witness. These engineers are doing just that.
