Hi Keith, in the case of WBAL, I tried everything I could to get rid of
the hiss. Nothing worked. Sure I could knock it down a bit with certain
settings, but the hiss was still there. Having to use special techniques
to get a station in clearly when you are well within the station's NIF
is absolutely unsatisfactory. In other words, I should not have to do it
in the first place.
