Scott,

I remember after the Hammond IN IRCA convention back in 73, Bill Block &
I flew on to NYC. We stayed an a motel in Manhattan in the theater
district. From our upstars room, I could hear WNBC 660 but with
background noise and I could see WNYC's 830 tower (I think it was) and
their little 1 KW was weak. There did not seem to be much QRN, but the
concrete buildings and all, the stations had poor coverage.
