I can see the tempers from many of us flaring. I can understand and side
with everyone. We see the hobby we have love go down the tudes because
of something that should never have been allowed. It comes down to the
old question "What were they thinking?" 
You are right, the 5KWers and below that use HD are not a big concern.
Sure I can hear some of it, especially during the day, KKPZ 1330
Portland, but running 500 watts of HD compared to 5 KW or more on a 50
KWer is going to really cause a lot more interference. I think all
stations that run HD, should have no more power than 5 KW analog and 500
watts HD. That would sure clean things up a lot, but it is not going to
happen. But time will tell how long this goes on. I am still thinking is
will go away in time.
