Re: [IRCA] HD

Scott,

So it sounds like HD Radio is here to stay if no one listens or not?
Interesting concept. However the difference between analog Stereo and HD
is the interference factor when many people may quit listening to AM so
the ratings issue comes into play. I know people that if they hear all
of the hiss across the AM dial they would turn the radio off, go to XM,
or go to FM. So there is a lot more to lose leaving the AM dial a
wasteland. But time will tell. I just don't see the public going for
this. Who knows? The public may request the stations turn it off. If the
station has nothing to lose, they may. It is better than losing the
audience.
