Excellent point, small light wire. I use larger light wire for the first
450 feet of the Eastern beverage as there are few supports close
together. The wire went through some 120 MPH winds and did not break.
The only time it broke is when a tree fell on it and even then the
splice at the matching transformer broke, not the wire. I bought #13
stranded copperweld plastic cover stuff from the Wireman a couple years
back that has pull strength of 500 pounds. It is great and light in
weight too. The old #12 house wiring I used was heavy. I still use it on
fence part of the beverage, but supports are 10 feet apart.
  John,  I notice you have the loops with light poles with a cross arm.
I wonder if the loops could be installed between the branches of a tree,
like the shore pine ones behind my house. That way one could be "hid" Is
the "form" really critical? If not, one loop could be put near my
neighbors house 150 feet away in the tree and the second behind the
house. But doesn't one have to faced East/West and the other
North/South?  I guess the one by my neighbors could be East West in a
tree and the second one behind the house I could try a North/South. But
all I want  is to get rid of the IBOC QRM to hear Asia & the Pacific
better, nulling the East. Any thoughts John?
