[IRCA] NYC AM IBOC status, 9/14/07

If anyone's looking for IBOC on the NYC AM stations tonight, be advised 
that both WFAN and WCBS have baseball. I'm told by my engineering 
contact there that the IBOC won't be turned on until "after the Mets are 
done playing on WFAN, and after the Yankees lose on WCBS."

(Yes, there are Sox fans even in NYC!)

WOR is now 24/7, of course. I don't know about WABC's status yet. I 
don't believe WINS has completed its antenna work to allow for HD there.
